The garden has a steep drop down to the road. Already terraced, this was re-dug using retaining walls. A step with good colour pattern and texture leads from the lawn to aid weeding the middle border.

The natural colour of the wall complements the planting in the border and we have used different height blocks to give interest.

Walls give structure to a garden, in this case making a necessity into a feature. The overall effect is stunning from the road, and because of the terracing can also be enjoyed as part of the view when sitting in the garden.

This property had a full garden makeover. Here you can see the low wall and steps leading to the upper level.The ground was levelled in two areas. The lower level is laid with patio slabs. A short wall and steps separate this from the upper level. The upper level is laid with turf and there is a walkway on one side to match the patio. At the back of the garden another wall forms a boundary for the border and mature trees. The fencing provides privacy from the neighbours.
